Fronted by female vocalist Kate "Queen Bee" Zaitz, the band is best known for its former residency at Britain's famous blues pub, the Station Tavern in West London.
Their first CD A features 13 cooking tracks, showcasing Bee backed by SNAKE'S BLUES QUARTET, lead by husband Jake "Snake" Zaitz, a brilliantly tasteful but very gutsy guitarist. The CD features generous portions of Tim Richards piano alongside Dana Gillespie bassist Javier Garcia and Scandinavian drummer Magnus Fritz, on a selection of mainly original material.
