SIIILK was born from the creative meeting of five musicians from the French city of Lyon. Gilbert GANDIL and Jacques ROMAN, famous for their legendary band PULSAR, joined forces with Richard PICK, Guillaume ANTONICELLI and Attilio TERLIZZI for this new project. Published by the Musea label in the year 2013, "Way To Lhassa" blends music and poetry, taking the listener from the lowlands of Flanders to the butresses of Himalaya, through India. These musical wanderings between chjldhood and adulthood are sublimed by the sounds of Mellotron, keyboards, drums and guitars. Let's also mention brasses, tampuras, Armenian duduk, Indian santur, choirs, and so on. All these elements make this album a timeless masterpiece, in the grand tradition of Progressive rock.
