With a name like Sons-N-Britches, you can guess that these boys don’t take themselves too seriously. However, they do take their music very seriously. Daron Meek, Rocky Barnes, and Mike Mullis are life-long friends with a rich history of making music together. Growing up in the Due West Community on the outskirts of Kennesaw, GA; these boys had a slew of musical mentors. Local jams in neighborhood music stores and backyard barbeque's provided fertile ground for them to grow as musicians, songwriters and performers. Later; the "Sons" honed their skills appearing with such acts as Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Kennesaw, Mark Chestnutt, Travis Tritt and many more.
The band has added an acoustic feel to their most recent work that really showcases their songwriting. In addition to their original material; S-N-B blends traditional Country, Rock, and Southern-style Blues with a touch of Grass. They call it "music from the REAL dirty south." It's like a glass of iced tea with a shot of moonshine (refreshing with a kick).
