Originally from Phila. Amy Arlo is no stranger to the Blues. Performing in Festivals & Clubs w the Band 'Smoke Rings' then moving to Miami and forming Almost Blue in 2005, She's been called a Modern day Janis Joplin with her Powerful Voice and cool takes on Early Soul & Modern Day Blues . Guitarist Albert Arguelles who co-wrote the songs with Amy, has been in the Miami Latin Funk Music scene for many years and has been musical director for such greats as Timmy Thomas.
