"King of the Road" is a blues album by Eddie Shaw produced by Rooster Blues Records. A reviewer on allmusic.com says of the album, "{It is} a revealing compilation of the ballsy Chicago saxist's earlier work (1966-1984) that certainly deserves to be on CD but isn't yet. "Blues for the West Side" and "Lookin' Good", both with Magic Sam on guitar, are highlights of Shaw's entire career, while his vocal talents are well-served on "It's All Right", an amusing "I Don't Trust Nobody", and his touching tribute "Blues Men of Yesterday"."
