Current E Street Band member Jake Clemons isn’t the only one of Clarence Clemons’ relatives to enter the family business. Clemons’ son, Nick, is also a veteran recording artist, and he recently released a new album, "We All Bleed the Same". (Jake is the late Big Man’s nephew.) The latest chapter in a recording career that includes 1991’s In the Sunlight,1993 EP "Waiting For You" and 2013’s "Just to Survive", We All Bleed the Same finds Nick continuing his charity work on behalf of people struggling with addiction while carrying forward the Clemons family’s musical legacy — a responsibility that, as he said in the interview, he eagerly embraces.
“My father gave a lot of love, a lot of blood, sweat and tears, and the fans appreciate it,” said Clemons. “It’s something I aspire to in my daily work. He gave me a great work ethic, and I think that’s what spurs me to get things done.”
The Nick Clemons Band has been performing at venues across North America mixing rock, funk, jazz, R&B, and pop styles into an original uplifting sound that always gets the crowd on it's feet. Based in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the band is named for it's leader, Nick Clemons - the oldest son of the legendary saxophonist, The E Street Band's Clarence "Big Man" Clemons. He has shared the stage with Bobby Bandiera, John Eddie, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Jimmy Vivino, and Clarence Clemons. "The most important thing to me," Clemons says ,"is to get a warm feeling from a crowd, that juice or electricity that makes you want to give more."  "We All Bleed the Same" is the name of the new CD by NCB featuring the title track "We All Bleed the Same" A strong collection of meaningful lyrics with a mixture of rock and Funk with an alternative edge.
This is by far NCB's best work to date!
