Bottlerocket Combo is the acoustic side project of singer and rhythm guitarist of The Bellhops, The Rockhoppers and The Hellboppers, Ian Dittman. Setup as a duo act with lead guitarist Rob Turner, occasional performer with The Bellhops and the Rockhoppers , this album expands upon this adding bass, drums mandolin and harmonica. Country style blues, acoustic blues, folk style blues and folk are the mainstays of this album, delivered in most part with acoustic guitars and dobro heading up the other instrumentation. The album is mostly original tunes penned by the prolific songwriting talents of Ian Dittman and assisted by Rob Turner on a 3 of the tracks.
